Build-Measure-Learn

The Lean Startup - Wikipedia

The Build-Measure-Learn feedback loop is a core principle of Eric Ries’s The Lean Startup (2011). It is a cyclical learning process with three phases: transforming ideas into a minimum viable product (Build), measuring customer reactions (Measure), and learning whether to continue or pivot (Learn). Drawing from Lean manufacturing and Agile development, the approach reduces market risk by testing assumptions early with minimal resources rather than relying on extensive upfront planning.
