Induction

Induktion (Philosophie) - Wikipedia

Induction is the process of drawing general conclusions from specific observations. Unlike deduction, inductive conclusions are probable rather than certain. Hume argued that induction cannot yield universal laws, which is precisely why Empiricism emphasizes continuous observation and validation rather than assuming past patterns will hold.
